RIB Altair Seating

Seats can be delivered for £85 – £100 on a pallet to most parts of the UK.

The RIB Altair 3P is fast becoming the most popular seating system for modern campervans. The contoured seating offered by these seats allow greater comfort while travelling. The clever “flip over” design of the seats allow for a bed to be made up in a matter of seconds. The rear cushion also has multiple positioning meaning that you can have comfortable support while sitting up in bed – whether for a cup of tea in the morning or to reading a good book.  As a day van or part of a full conversion you can be confident that these seats will add versatility as well as value to your vehicle.

One of the main advantages over traditional “Rock and Roll type” seating is the large storage allowed for at the rear. The rear cushion can be positioned into a parcel shelf, or can be swung upright allowing for larger objects to be loaded, such as a bike.

Reduced Height frame (310mm) – You will need a reduced frame if you are fitting to one of these vehicles;
T4-Vivaro-Trafic-Primastar-Vito.
This ensures the seat frame clears the wheel -arch, whilst you still have enough headroom in the back to be comfortable.

Standard Height Frame (330mm) –
Suitable for all T5 and T6 models. You can also use these with the Transit Custom but you must use a raiser frame of 25mm (Purchased Separately) to ensure that the frame clears the wheel-arch.

220mm Slider Frames – Whether you choose to have a sliding frame or a fixed frame is somewhat a personal choice, unless of course you plan on having a Porta-Pottie housed under the seat frame, if this is the case you must choose a fixed frame.

The Slider mechanism offers versatility in seating position and can offer more room in the front or the back depending on your needs? This is part of the frame, not a frame addition.
