These vents work perfectly as gas drop vents in gas cupboards.
The floor vent allows gas leaks to disperse safely. LPG is heavier than air, so it drops downward and exits through the vent.

We regularly install these vents in campervan furniture to encourage airflow and remove hot air from around 12V fridges and power management units.
You can also fit these vents as slam vents when paneling and insulating your van. Most vans hide factory slam vents around the rear wheel arch to release excess air pressure when the sliding door closes.
Installing these vents in the rear paneling keeps the vehicle’s slam vents functional. Without slam vents, the sliding door may bounce back open when closed quickly, or air pressure may build up inside the van.
